Katie Saphire

Meet Katie…
Katie Saphire is an occupational therapist with a passion for working with children and helping them thrive. Since earning her master’s degree in 2018, Katie has spent the past eight years supporting children and families through a holistic, individualized approach. Her experience includes early intervention, ABA supports, and pediatric outpatient intensive therapy programs, with a specialization in working with children with neurological disorders.
Katie is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care tailored to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. Her continued drive to expand her knowledge and provide the best services possible has led her to pursue advanced training and certifications, including DMI Intermediate Level A, MNRI Method training (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration), VitalStim for feeding and swallowing, the Astronaut Protocol for visual-vestibular-auditory integration, primitive reflex integration, Therapeutic Listening, and vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance.
Drawing on her years of experience and specialized training, Katie creates individualized plans of care that may address gross and fine motor development, sensory-motor integration, visual-vestibular and ocular motor skills, primitive reflex integration, NMES and TASES, feeding and swallowing, SOS sensory approaches, and more.
At the heart of Katie’s work is a passion for helping children build skills, confidence, and greater independence while supporting families along the way.
