Therapy interventions may include sand tray, expressive play, creative arts, role play, mindfulness activities, games, coping skill instruction, and parent and caregiver coaching. Kathy has served clients and families in agency settings, as well as in schools, in client homes, and via telehealth. As an outpatient therapist serving public and charter schools in Philadelphia, Kathy has expertise in school consultation around functional behavioral assessments, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and 504 Plans, as well as in collaborating with school-based behavioral health providers. In addition to being a psychotherapist, Kathy is also a proud mom of three children, with years of advocacy for all three, but mostly for the child with disabilities. Parenting is a journey, and Kathy is here for parents as much as for their children, aware that the family system depends on parents and caregivers in order to function at its best. Always with a holistic approach and an empathic spirit, Kathy brings love, light, and hope to her work. In addition to enjoying any family time available, Kathy enjoys cooking, writing, and travel.
